Arthritis Foundation Tennessee Chapter
Arthritis Foundation
With over 1.3 million Tennesseans living with a form of arthritis, the Arthritis Foundation Tennessee Chapter stays busy serving individuals in the community. The Arthritis Foundation is the largest private, not-for-profit contributor to arthritis research in the world, funding more than $380 million in research grants since 1948. Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, the foundation helps individuals take control of arthritis by providing public health education; pursuing public policy and legislation; and conducting evidence-based programs to improve the quality of life for those living with arthritis. The Arthritis Foundation strives to increase awareness through public health programming, grassroots advocacy initiatives and special events.

Just some of the special events that are held throughout the year include the signature Arthritis Walk, Singin’ in the Summertime, Bone Bash, Tribute, and more.

The Arthritis Foundation is also a great place for anyone to attain arthritis related information. Everything from brochures and booklets to physician referral lists. They also maintain a roster of certified instructors who offer the Life Improvement Series classes.
