“How’s that working for you?” is the first question Steve Austin asks those in the Freedom Program offered by 180 Degrees Ministries®. In this intense small group setting, individuals process their core belief system in light of God’s truth – often discovering that coping behaviors learned in the past pale in comparison to the true behavioral changes evolved from a heart changed by Jesus Christ.
Born from Austin’s personal struggles, 180 Degrees Ministries® officially became a non-profit corporation in 2003. Since then, 180° has touched thousands of lives from thirty-one states and formed networking relationships with other organizations and non-profits in the community. Operating in a holistic approach, the ministry seeks to help individuals and their families find absolute freedom from their addictions and addictive behavior through Christ. In addition to the two-week Freedom program, 180° offers individual counseling as well as a twelve week, one night a week community series entitled “Getting Your Life ON-TARGET.” Austin says, “I don’t understand it, but God’s fingerprint is upon this ministry; He has anointed and appointed us to set the captives free!”
180° offers scholarships and sliding scale fees to those who qualify.
