In 2001, Doug Dittamore owner and publisher for Who’s Who in Nashville met Daniel Stephens, Founder of Who’s Who. Over the course of Doug’s first year working alongside Daniel at Who’s Who in Huntsville the magazine proceeded to double in size.
With a vision to expand Who’s Who Magazines to other cities, beginning with Nashville, TN, Daniel and Doug formed an S Corporation as 50/50 partners in 2002. Doug bought out the partnership in 2004, further expanding Who’s Who to Sumner and Rutherford Counties. Author and branding specialist Ms. Chris Hilicki (www.chrishilicki.com) says, “The only difference between you and your competitor is your true story.” Doug says, “At Who’s Who, that is exactly what we do – we tell your story because the story makes all the difference.”
Who’s Who in Nashville, Who’s Who in Sumner County and Who’s Who in Rutherford County are elite, bi-annual, full color magazines designed to provide both residents and visitors with information and profiles on the community’s leading individuals and businesses. As a promotional venue, Who’s Who highlights the multiple accomplishments of these members who have become, in one way or another, key elements to the area’s economic and social growth. With two annual issues, Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter, each issue has a total distribution of 25,000, bulk mailing directly to 16,000 homes within Middle Tennessee. Additional copies are supplied to local businesses, Realtors and relocation newcomers’ packs provided through participating Chambers of Commerce.
